SLaM 2006 Gunslingers Defeat Kool-Aid for SLaM 2006 TitleThe Avon Gunslingers, league champions in 1998 and again in 2002, grabbed their league-best third title by defeating Grape Kool-Aid to be crowned champions of SLaM 2006. On a roll since acquiring QB Marc Bulger in mid-season, the Gunslingers rode their star quarterback's 45-point effort to an easy victory over Kool-Aid, who suffered a second title game loss in the past three years. The good news for the rest of the league? Based on current patterns, the Gunslingers shouldn't win again for another four years! In the Trenches
