SLaM 2003 Minions Claim SLaM 2003 TitleIn what will go down as one of the tightest championship games in the history of SLaM, Ming’s Minions nipped the Avon Gunslingers, 144.45 - 141.65. In doing so, the Minions denied the Gunslingers a record third title and nabbed their first SLaM Bowl trophy. Thanks in no small part to 43.1 points contributed by game MVP Jamal Lewis, the Minions were able to overcome injuries to key players Matt Hasselbeck and Darrell Jackson. The Minions even survived a late scare from nemesis Rob Johnson, but they hung on and were the victors in SLaM Bowl VI. In the Trenches
