With two-time defending champion Paul (2000, 2001) sitting this one out, twenty-seven other contenders vied for a shot at this year's NCAA Tournament Pool. With favorites like Duke, Maryland, and Kansas dominating pool submissions, it figured to be a year where every game counted. When Maryland finally came out on top, beating Indiana in the finals, Joanna & Garen emerged as victors! Congratulations to our winners!
Each entrant submitted one ballot, selecting winners for all sixty-three games. Points were awarded for each correctly picked game, with point totals listed below. Points were awarded on the following scale:
