Best of 2006: The Year in Film

As the years go by, it becomes more and more difficult to line up critics for this most coveted of positions. As lives become more complicated, finding the time to see ten list-worthy films can be downright challenging. Nevertheless, a few brave souls dared to try.

As was the case from 2002-2005, Potpourri has asked four of the most frequent Proudest Monkeys contributors to compile their "Best of 2006" lists. Here's what we've got:

These lists were finalized right before this year's Oscar celebration. Favorites of ours will likely be honored throughout the evening, while others will have to rejoice in the fact that they even made one of these hallowed lists.
